Want to Score 91+ in English Core Class12 CBSE

SCORE 90+ in CBSE Class 12 English Core

English Core as is the custom is going to be the first subject which will set the mood of the board examination. Shortly lakhs of students like you are going to appear in AISSCE.

As I have always been saying, "That the English exam is 1st in the time-table, it is the toughest and most important of all subjects". Unfortunately, your English teacher has no marks in his hands like your other subject teachers to let you relax. So, the only alternative is to tighten our belts and get ready to hit the bull's eye on the very first day of the CBSE Exam Fest.

Here is what you can do: -

1.   Read all the twelve stories and five poems thoroughly and be aware of examination specification.
2.   Note down all important lines of the story - mainly the sentences in direct speech.
3.   Write, Write and Write.
4.   Maintain your calm in the exam hall. Feel that you know all about the exam.
5.   Keep yourself to the key points. Yes, you got that right, the word limit must be adhered to.
6.   Manage the time - it helps you to attempt all questions to your satisfaction.
7.   Highlight by underlining  the key words, direct quotes from the text book and even some of the
difficult words you have used in your writing. Remember to use either a black pen to write the
quotation/word or better a pencil to underline. Keep this part neat, no smudges at all.
8.   Good handwriting adds an appeal to your answer script which largely lies on the pen quality.
9.   Attempt the questions in order of your confidence and the ones you feel easy.
10. Draw a right margin in answer-script to facilitate the evaluator to award marks for your answer.
11. Article, Report, Speech, Debate should have minimum two relevant quotations and make
      paragraphs except in Report writing.
12. Your views or arguments must be duly supported with facts n figures or real life examples.
13. Don't beat about the bush at least at the begining of the answer.
14. Section 'A' needs careful comprehension, Section 'B' needs fine formatting, good ideas, sound
explanation of value points and Section 'C' needs clarity of expression.
15. Revision of your answers in last ten minutes is very necessary to spot ommissions, if any.

Do this, to set the mood for your other exams after this.

And remember - Those who write, think never and those who think, never write.irte.

Good Luck to all examinees.
